The journey starts with a conversation. When you reach out to us, the first thing we ask is: What do you need the space for? This helps us guide you toward the right solution. Some key questions include:
- Are you looking for extra space for work, hobbies, or guests?
- With no plumbing needed, what size do you need?
- Is this a temporary or permanent solution?
- Do you need/want council approval?
Whatever your needs, we’ll walk you through the possibilities and help determine the best option for your property and lifestyle.

Step 2
What About Approvals?
As we refine your design, we’ll quickly determine whether council or building approvals are required. This depends on your selected design, your property’s zoning, and local council regulations. The good news? We handle it all for you.
- In Queensland, designs under 10m² without plumbing typically do not require council approval.
- In New South Wales, you can build up to 20m² without plumbing approval-free in most cases.
- If your chosen design falls outside these exemptions, we’ll manage the entire approval process on your behalf—including any necessary consultants or reports. From site compliance to building codes, we ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

If approval is needed it proceeds much like our studio and living range, but we do streamline it and approval can be within weeks and not months.
Site Feasibility & Preliminary Design
Assessing what can be built on your property, developing a concept plan, and providing a quote for Stage 2 with an estimate for Stage 3.
Planning & Approvals
Preparing detailed designs, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with council and building regulations.
Construction & Delivery
Bringing the approved design to life with a streamlined build process.
Handover & Completion
Finalizing the project, ensuring quality, and making sure your new space is ready to use.

Site Feasibility & Preliminary Design
If council approval is not needed, in most cases we can do an online inspection and then if you do want to go ahead we can develop a plan set for approval prior to manufacturing
Wall Frame Production (WFP)
We can start the WFP, 4-6 weeks ready for install Stage
Delivery, Installation and Handover
Ready to deliver install and handover in 1 day, and your new space will be ready to use by the end of the day.
